Photos: PA Fire Destroys One Home, Damages Two

A half-dozen fire companies responded to the fire in Palmer Twp.

Numerous 911 calls were received about a dwelling fire at 50 Craigie St. in Palmer Twp. on June 24.

The Palmer Municipal Fire Department was dispatched and a header could be seen from both township stations. A mutual aid call brought assistance in from the following Northampton County stations: 14 (Nancy Run), 15 (Hanover Twp.) , 17 (Bethlehem Twp.) 23 (West Easton) 25 (Forks Twp.), 28 (Williams Twp.) and 53 (Hecktown) and Suburban Rescue Squad (EMS).

Five people were left homeless when the fire destroyed the original structure. The attached occupant suffered extensive damage and a neighboring structure suffered melted vinyl siding.

The cause is unknown and no serious injuries were reported.
