Firehouse highlights recent fires from around the country.

Waterbury, CT, Jan. 5, 2018—The Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a garage fire. The first units on scene found a working fire that, pushed by high winds, quickly spread throughout the home. Crews faced multiple challenges, including below-zero temperature, deep snow on the property, and the home being in a non-hydrant area—factors that ultimately brought the fire to a third alarm.
