DUXBURY, MA, MAY 22, 2019—Duxbury firefighters found heavy fire conditions from a detached garage with a vehicle inside. Firefighters deployed hoselines and quickly knocked the fire down. Investigators determined that the fire started in the engine compartment of the Jeep inside the structure and no injuries were reported.

ONTARIO, CA, APRIL 30, 2019—More than 100 firefighters from several departments responded to a multiple-alarm fire at recycling facility. The fire involved a large area packed with bales of recycled materials and a dozer was brought in to pull the materials apart. Crews remained on scene for a second day to douse hot spots.

WEST CHICAGO, IL, APRIL 17, 2019—Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire conditions from a 2½-story home with two occupants trapped on the second floor. Firefighters battled flames from the exterior and entered the second floor via ground ladders where they located and removed a 94-year-old man, but he succumbed to his injuries two days later. Firefighters found the body of second person on the second floor after the fire was contained.

LODI, NJ, APRIL 15, 2019—Two chiefs arrived to find heavy fire issuing from the front windows of a Lodi home and called for a second alarm bringing crews from several fire departments to the scene. Crews from Engine 615 and Ladder 613 arrived and initiated an interior attack. Crews operated until conditions deteriorated and a flashover occurred on the second floor. Crews re-entered the structure and brought the fire under control.

HICKSVILLE, NY, APRIL 29, 2019—Hicksville firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a one-story commercial building with heavy fire conditions inside. Several 2½-inch hoselines and a tower ladder were placed into service to knock down the fire. Mutual aid was received from Bethpage, East Meadow, Jericho, Plainview, Syosset and Westbury fire departments.
