Since 2000, seismic protection has become more prevalent. Although there are scenarios where the details of earthquake protection can get complex, some basic knowledge of the subject can carry the user quite far. This seminar will discuss when the building codes require seismic protection to be applied to sprinkler systems as well as the basic concepts and components used to protect the sprinkler system from the earthquake forces it could encounter.
