Why Use Pumps

The use of fire pumps has increased significantly in the last 30 years in fire protection systems using public water supplies and those systems with private water supplies. The reasons for this increase will be explored along with a discussion of how to analyze an existing water supply and conclude that a fire pump can be a part of the solution to meet the demand of the fire protection system.
