Area Rae Deployment, Operation, and Maintenance

This one-day course will prepare responders to utilize Area Rae wireless air monitors at an emergency or special event.  The morning session will cover proper use, operation, and deployment strategies.  Several case studies involving successful deployment of Area Raes by local and national response teams will be reviewed.  The afternoon session will cover maintenance, including sensor changes, PID lamp cleaning, and trouble-shooting. Prerequisite:  Hazardous Materials Technician Parts I and II
