Two FDNY Firefighters Seriously Hurt in Five-Alarm Blaze

One of the firefighters was hit by an air conditioner during the operation in Queens early Tuesday.

A five-alarm fire in Queens early Tuesday left two FDNY firefighters with serious injuries.

One of the firefighters was hit by an air conditioner, while the nature of the other crew member's injury has not been revealed, abc7 reported.

FDNY officials said the two suffered "significant" injuries during the operation. A civilian also was hurt. 

Heavy fire was showing when crews responded.
