A dozen workers were safely evacuated from a manufacturing building that caught fire after an explosion in Burlington Township Thursday night.

After an explosion was reported, firefighters found heavy fire on the second and third floors of the American Custom Drying manufacturing building.

Crews quickly doused the report of employees trapped. All were accounted for, Burlington Township Fire Administrator Stephen Fazekas told CBS Philly.

Due to the chemicals inside the building, a hazmat situation was declared as a precaution.

Later, they said there was no danger to the public.

The cause is under investigation.
