FHExpo18: Look Inside Hands-On Training

Oct. 17, 2018
A big part of Firehouse Expo every year in Nashville are two full days of hands-on training, and our staff was there to give you an inside look on Day 1.

This year's Firehouse Expo in Nashville got off to a great start Tuesday with a wealth of hands-on training sessions at four different sites in and around the Music City region.

The Firehouse team was on-site for all the hard work our instructors and students put in at two sites in Nashville, including one at the city's Fire Academy, and at training facilities in the cities of Murfreesboro and Franklin.

The training classes Tuesday included key skill sets such as rapid intervention, scenario-based vehicle extrication, aggressive fire control and VEIS tactics, understanding basement fires, and tactical thermal imaging.

You can view a vivid array of photos by clicking on the "View Gallery" option in the above image and also look below to watch several videos we shared in real time on our social media pages.

Hands-on training will continue with another full day Wednesday at the same four sites. Check us out on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for a peek at the action, and stay safe out there!
