Nov. 15--HARRAH -- A man who rolled his all-terrain vehicle down a steep hill was rescued by rappellers Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The man, whose name was not released, complained of shoulder pain after rolling the vehicle down the hill. He was taken to a hospital Tuesday evening to be examined for major injuries, Oklahoma County sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers said.

About 5:30 p.m., the man rolled the ATV down the hill near NE 23 and Peebly Road. Because of the steep incline, Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies and Harrah firefighters had to rappel down the hill, Myers said.

The man was rescued about an hour later, he said.
