Nov. 03--A truck carry tons of tomato sauce flipped over Thursday morning, closing the Highway 99 on-ramp at Victor Road.

At approximately 9:44 a.m., CHP and Lodi firefighters responded to a call at the on-ramp where a big rig truck carrying cans of tomato sauce had flipped over onto its left side.

The driver of the vehicle, Stockton resident Froylan Trujillo, 57, was treated on-scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

According to CHP officer Brent Blevins, Trujillo was transporting the cans from Woodland to Lodi.

Drugs or alcohol were not a factor, Blevins said.

The on-ramp at Victor Road was closed as a result of the accident while crews attempted to upright the truck.

Cleanup crews removed the spilled cans from the truck one by one to ensure that they did not roll onto the highway.
