A construction worker was "crushed" by heavy machinery at a Seattle construction site Wednesday, the Seattle Fire Department said.
Firefighters told KIRO 7's Essex Porter that the worker was extricated from the machinery and rushed to Harborview Medical Center. He suffered a head injury and fractures in his lower extremities.
The incident occurred at a site near 7th Avenue and Madison Street.
