TUSCOLA COUNTY, Mich. --

WNEM TV5 has learned a Millington man was seriously hurt after being pinned beneath a tractor that rolled over onto him.

TV5 sources said a commercial size lawn tractor flipped and rolled near a retaining wall on Martin Damm's Murphy Lake front property while he was mowing his lawn Friday afternoon.

We're told Damm's wife apparently ran to a neighbor on Torrey Drive asking for help, saying her husband, who is in his 60s, was trapped.

It took rescue crews longer to effect a rescue due to the accident scene's location. Damm was flown via helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. As of Friday evening, his injuries are said to be life-threatening.
