Maryland Firefighters Rescue Man Stuck in Tree

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore County police said tactical rescue crews were able to free a man who was dangling from a tree in Woodlawn. Baltimore County Fire Department spokeswoman Elise Armacost said the tree trimmer became trapped Monday after he apparently got his foot caught between two branches of the tree located at 6322 Dogwood Road in Woodlawn. He was stuck about 30 feet off the ground, officials said. Crews responded to the call at noon and got the man down at about 12:35 p.m.

He was stuck about 30 feet off the ground, officials said.

Crews responded to the call at noon and got the man down at about 12:35 p.m.

The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
