Md. Firefighters Battle Egg Facility Blaze

GALENA, Md. -- Fire crews in Cecil County are at the scene of a two-alarm fire at an egg manufacturing facility. The Cecil County Fire Department said the fire broke out at about 7:30 p.m. Monday at a warehouse in the 3300 block of Galena Sassafras Road in Galena. The building that is on fire houses chickens, firefighters said. There is no word on injuries. The plant is near the Maryland-Delaware line.
