Cows Killed in New Hampshire Roof Collapse

BATH, N.H. -- Two cows were killed and another dozen trapped under a collapsed roof in Bath Sunday morning. Fire officials said a barn at the McCue farm on Pettyboro Road collapsed under the weight of snow and ice. It happened around 9:30 Sunday morning. Fifty firefighters from surrounding towns responded along with neighbors who brought their own equipment. Crews used chainsaws and shovels to clear the debris and cut the cows free.
