Investigators are trying to determine the cause of an overnight fire that destroyed the Friendly's Restaurant on Loudon Road in Concord early Saturday morning.
Flames could be seen shooting into the night sky when crews responded to the blaze shortly after 1 a.m.
Crews reported heavy flames in the attic of the restaurant, and firefighters couldn't enter at first.
Authorties say it took all of Concord's trucks, and additional aid from four other towns to get the fire under control by about 3:30 Saturday.
No injuries were reported. Friendly's company officials said 65 people worked at the restaurant. The staff will be relocated to other area restaurants.
