Firefighters are trying to put out a controlled burn that ended up out of control when wind fueled the flames.
Black smoke rose from near the northwest side of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Monday afternoon as crews worked to snuff out the blaze.
No one was hurt and no buildings were threatened at 4 p.m.
