ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. --
Authorities said a brush fire is under control.
The fire started Tuesday when a controlled burn quickly spread.
Firefighters from three departments responded to the scene of the flames, which consumed about one acre.
No buildings were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
