PINE GROVE, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon's largest wildfire of the summer grew Tuesday to 4,575 acres on the north side of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.

About 430 people were fighting the Log Springs fire, said Roger Peterson, spokesman at the Northwest Interagency Coordination Center in Portland. The blaze was 25 percent contained, he said.

``With the active burning, basically robbing the fire of some of the fuels, they feel like they're making pretty good progress,'' Peterson said of the fire crews.

Twenty-one homes in a subdivision near the small town of Simnasho in Central Oregon were potentially threatened by the fire and were under a voluntary evacuation, he said.

The fire was first reported Sunday afternoon. A cause has yet to be determined.
