Several firefighters were called away from a memorial procession for two of their fallen colleagues when a house fire broke out Wednesday.

CBS21 News reports that during a procession for fallen York firefighters Ivan Flanscha and Zachary Anthony, flames could be seen in the background rising from a burning home in West York before several firefighters left the service to tackle the flames.

Thankfully, firefighters from several local agencies were on hand to respond, and the fire was quickly contained with no injuries reported.

"No matter where you go, what department you are with, everybody is willing to help everybody out and be there for each other," Don Garrett with the Hellam Township Fire Department told CBS21.

Flanscha and Anthony were on the fourth floor of a building last Thursday when part of the structure collapsed and killed them following a fire the day before.

The tragedy marked the first line-of-duty deaths for the York City Fire Department since 1971.
