Massive Blaze Destroys NJ Shore Landmark

Saturday's five-alarm fire burned for nearly 12 hours and engulfed the North End Pavilion on the boardwalk in Ocean Grove on the Jersey Shore.

A landmark building along the New Jersey shore boardwalk is in ruins after a massive fire in the Ocean Grove section of Neptune.

Saturday's five-alarm blaze engulfed the North End Pavilion and surrounding sections of boardwalk, according to the Asbury Park Press. The half century-old building housed a cafe and multiple shops.

There were no reported injuries in the fire, which caused damage estimated in the millions and burned for around 12 hours.
