Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening after glass bottles were thrown at them while responding to a residential blaze.

Two Baltimore City firefighter were injured after glass bottles were thrown at them during a call late Sunday.

Crews responded to a fire at a two-story rowhouse around 8 p.m. on the city's southeast side, WBFF-TV reports. When firefighters went to enter the home, a man began throwing bottles at them, according to a report on Citizen.com.

Two firefighters were struck and taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. They were later released, according WBFF.

Police were called to the scene by the fire department, but no arrests were made. The fire was put out by 8:30 p.m., WBFF added.
