Crews from Multiple PA Counties Tackle Residential Fire

Firefighters from Harrisburg, York and Cumberland counties worked for around two hours to extinguish a blaze that broke out at a two-and-a-half story duplex in Harrisburg’s Allison Hill neighborhood.

Firefighters from multiple counties worked through the early hours of Wednesday morning to extinguish a blaze in Harrisburg’s Allison Hill neighborhood.

Multiple callers reported a fire around 3:15 a.m. at a home on the 1900 block of Forster Street, leading crews from Harrisburg, York and Cumberland counties to rush to the scene, according to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire.

Harrisburg fire officials said no one was injured in the fire, which began in a two-and-a-half story duplex.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, fire officials said.

Crews remained at the scene as of 5:30 a.m.
