No one was injured when a single-engine airplane made an emergency landing on an interstate in Arden Hills and crashed into another vehicle.

A small plane collided with another vehicle when it crash-landed on a Minnesota highway Wednesday.

A single-engine Bellance Viking airplane made an emergency landing shortly before 9:30 p.m. along Interstate 35W in Arden Hills, KSTP-TV reports. When it landed on the highway, the aircraft crashed into a vehicle on the highway.

No one was injured in the incident. The crash temporarily shut down the interstates northbound lanes for about six hours.

"We were just watching a movie and we heard a super loud thud, and it kind of made us all look at each other, like what was going on," a witness told KSTP. "Then we just continued watching the movie and shortly after heard a ton of sirens."

Investigators are looking into the incident, KSTP added.
