Raw video from the scene of a house fire captured a Baltimore City firefighter dodging flames that shot out of a second-story window.
The incident happened Friday night at a two-story rowhouse in southeast Baltimore, according to the firefighters union. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and were able to control the fire in about 30 minutes.
During the call, a firefighter can be seen in video footage on an awning extending over a front porch. Flames erupt from a window just as the firefighter was trying to enter, sending the first responder rolling onto the ground.
One civilian was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, the union stated. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
