Dallas firefighters were called to a high-rise apartment building twice because of two electrical-related fires early Thursday.

The first call to the 25-story Gables Park apartment building happened shortly after 2:30 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue stated in a press release. When crews arrived, they found a smoking generator on the first sub-level of the building's underground parking garage and were able to ventilate and clear the scene in less than an hour.

The second call happened at 4:45 a.m. after a "smoke odor" could be smelled as high as the building's top floor. Another search of the parking garage found a fire in an electrical room on the third sub-level that was generating more smoke than the first call.

After shutting off the power, crews used dry-chemical extinguishers to knock down the fire. But excessive amounts of smoke had already made it into the building which needed to be ventilated.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
