A two-alarm fire destroyed the former wedding chapel in Las Vegas in January, and another victim was discovered after squatters illegally entered the fenced-off site over the weekend.

A second body was discovered over the weekend in the burned out rubble of a former wedding chapel in Las Vegas that was destroyed nearly two months ago.

A two-alarm fire had gutted the vacant chapel on Las Vegas Boulevard on Jan. 12, and the remains for Travis Warren, 30, were found the following day, according to the fire department. Another victim was uncovered Saturday by squatters who had illegally entered the fenced-off site.

"The victim was found underneath significant debris and insulation," Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan said in a statement. "It appeared to arson investigators the victim was present during the fire. The investigation is still ongoing and the identification of the victim and cause of death is unknown and being investigated by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.”

Heavy equipment was brought to the site Monday to sift through the charred wreckage in order to locate any other victims, the department stated. An investigation into January's fire is expected to continue through the week.
