A Tennessee firefighter was injured battling a residential fire Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 3:40 p.m. at a single-story home in eastern Knox County, the Knox County Rural Metro Fire Department stated in an online update. When crews arrived, they saw flames on the front side of the house that extended into the attic.
