A late night warehouse fire just outside downtown Fort Worth kept firefighters busy through the early morning hours.
For Worth firefighters found fire coming from the roof of the large one-story warehouse with a bowstring truss roof on North Throckmorton Street about 10 p.m.
Firefighters found holes in the floor and damage to the integrity of the structure and moved to a defensive attack.
Additional units were summoned to the scene as firefighters set up aerial master streams and staffed hoselines to battle the fire.
Crews used saws to create access to the deep seated fire as the flames quickly spread.
Fresh crews were rotated throughout the evening after the fire was placed under control to douse hot spots.
