Firefighters faced a massive fire that consumed a residence in an Atlanta suburb, and the flames were so intense that a vehicle sitting at the end of the driveway began to burn.
The DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department responded to the blaze in the 600 block of Smithson Court in Lithonia on Monday afternoon, and chopper footage from 11 Alive News captured the intensity of the fire, which also damaged nearby homes due to the radiant heat.
DeKalb County Fire Rescue said in a Facebook post on Tuesday that no one was injured and the fire was deemed unintentional.
