A massive fire destroyed several units in an apartment complex in Pineville on Monday morning, leaving residents to flee and lose everything left behind.

Firefighters from the Pineville Fire Department arrived to find heavy fire conditions showing from the multi-story structure. Due to the heavy fire conditions and stability of the structure, crews set up defensive operations and used multiple aerial devices and hose lines to control the fire.

The Charlotte Fire Department sent assets to assist with the fire, and Pineville officials confirmed everyone made it out safely with no injuries were reported.
