Firefighters from three departments worked to contain fire in a Selma restaurant Saturday night.
Selma firefighters were dispatched to a reported building fire near Whitson and McCall Avenue and found a single-story restaurant with heavy smoke and fire conditions present.
Firefighters made entry and conducted an offensive attack to control the fire and called for assistance from neighboring departments.
According to a Facebook post by the Selma Fire Department, units from Fresno County Fire and Kingsburg Fire assisted with fireground operations.
The cause of the fire, which left the building with extensive damage, is under investigation.
