FDNY FFs Find Two Bodies in Burning Car
Two bodies were found in a burning car near a Bronx golf course early Monday, authorities said.
Firefighters made the startling discovery after responding to a 4:16 a.m. 911 call about a car on fire on Shore Road near Pelham Split Rock Golf Course in Pelham Bay Park. The age and gender of each victim found dead inside the car was not immediately clear.
Investigators are unsure if the deaths were criminal though police did note the car, a Honda Accord, was not involved in a collision.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death for both victims.
