The operator walked away, but told reporters he thought he was going to die.

A crane tipped over and fell on top of a construction site in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Boston Fire Department.

The site is located on East Cottage and Dorchester Avenue. Officials said no injuries were reported from the incident.

An unidentified crane operator walked away from the incident unscathed. However, he told a 7 News reporter he thought he was “going to die.”

Photos from the incident show the crane ladder on top of the building’s in-development second-floor foundation.

The construction site address is connected to a building project for an expansion of the Dorchester Market, according to WCVB. The site is planned to become a five-story, 43,800-square-foot building that includes a new ground-floor space for the business. Plans also include the development of 38 residential units.
