The Pelican Products 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-01. It will be held April 16 at M&T Bank Stadium, Section D, Lot D, 1101 Russell Street, Baltimore, Md.,
Onsite registration starts at 8 a.m. and the opening ceremony starts 9:45 a.m. and the climb starts at 10 a.m. The climb will end at 12 p.m. A reception will follow at Firefighters Union Hall 1202 Ridgely Street, Baltimore, Md.
Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and the world knows that we will never forget.
The event will benefit the FDNY, CSU and the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to support the families of our nation's fallen firefighters.
