Taylor’d Systems Launches a Rugged, Scalable Solution for Firefighter Training
Taylor’d Systems LLC is proud to introduce the Series 40+, the latest advancement in its line of high-performance firefighter training structures. Designed as a larger, more versatile evolution of the flagship Series 12, the Series 40+ delivers a robust, real-world training capability.
Engineered for Performance, Built for Durability
Crafted from recycled steel shipping containers, the Series 40+ is built to withstand the toughest training conditions and all-weather use. Unlike traditional wooden props that degrade quickly, this unit is purpose-built for long-term, rugged performance. The upper decks of the containers are outfitted with a heavy-duty bar grate rooftop, complete with a rappelling anchor, providing a durable, elevated platform for advanced training exercises.
Innovative Design for Realistic Scenarios
With five integrated floor hatches, a two-story floor rescue setup, and a movable wall system in the upper 20’ container, the Series 40+ enables highly adaptable layouts for search and rescue, confined space, and SCBA navigation drills. The unit’s SCBA maze and large interior training space allow instructors to reconfigure environments for various scenarios, reinforcing critical problem-solving and team communication skills.
Advanced Training Features Include:
- Third-story bailout platform
- Vent prop suitable for wall breaching and shoring
- Forcible entry door and window
- Access windows and ladders at the 1st and 2nd levels
- Removable upper-level handrail for flexibility
- Roof hatches for push/pull and floor-rescue drills
A Smarter Investment in Firefighter Readiness
Sized between a full-scale training facility and single-container units, the Series 40+ offers the versatility of a custom facility without the high cost. Its modular nature allows departments to scale up training capacity.
A Commitment to Continuous Improvement
As with all Taylor’d Systems products, the Series 40+ is designed with universal component compatibility, allowing for easy upgrades as new training tools are released. This future-focused approach ensures that fire departments stay equipped with the latest features to meet evolving training needs.
