RescueBlox is a US and EU patent pending device that has a 3-party engineer certified rating of 50,000 pounds. A safety factor of 2:1 with a WLL (working load limit) of 25,000 pounds has been certified for 10 configurations. RescueBlox can be used alone as a step chock or with 2x4, 4x4, 4x6 dimensional lumber to support increase load heights.
Dimensional lumber can be married to RescueBlox by using a 2-inch ratchet strap creating a cribbing assembly that can be re-positioned without disassembly and reassembly. Adding wedges will enhance the system by conforming to complex load angles because during a rescue most loads are not level and square.
