Watch: Marine Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Joint Exercise

Cherry Point Marines and Coastal Carolina Regional Airport personnel conducted a joint exercise at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

On May 4, U.S. Marine Corps aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) specialists assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 and MWSS 274, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, and Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, participated in a joint training exercise with Coastal Carolina Regional Airport ARFF personnel at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

Cherry Point Marines and Coastal Carolina Regional Airport personnel conducted this joint exercise in order to enhance the efficiency of their firefighters, build interagency cohesion, and share knowledge and experience.
