Watch TX Firefighters Battle Wind-Driven House Blaze

Crews from multiple departments, including Fort Worth, Sansom Park and White Settlement, helped River Oaks firefighters put out the flames that spread through a residential structure early Monday.

Crews from multiple departments battled a Texas house fire early Monday with around 40 firefighters responding to the scene.

The blaze broke out at a residence in the 5300 block of Cahill Oval in River Oaks, and heavy flames were coming from inside the house, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department, which was one of the mutual aid agencies helping River Oaks crews. Firefighters from Lake Worth, Sansom Park and White Settlement also helped tackle the blaze.

Video footage shot by Glen E. Ellman captured crews working to extinguish the flames that had were driven by the wind and spread throughout the house. It took firefighters a little less than an hour to finally control the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
