A fast-moving, four-alarm blaze broke out at a duplex Wednesday, injuring two Boston firefighters and causing around $2 million in damage.
Around 100 Boston firefighters responded to the blaze, which started just before 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the left side the South Boston duplex, the Boston Globe reports. Although the building's left side was unoccupied while it was under construction, six adults and a child lived on the right side, and they were displaced by the fire.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze, WBZ-TV reports. One firefighter received a large cut, and another was treated for heat exhaustion.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
