Two MD Firefighters Burned in House Blaze

Crews were able to get the fire at a single-family home in Elkton under control in around 20 minutes Saturday afternoon.

Two Maryland firefighters were injured during a house blaze Saturday.

The fire broke out just after 2 p.m. at a single-family residence in Elkton, WJZ-TV reports. Crews were able to control the flames in around 20 minutes.

The two injured firefighters suffered minor burns, and the fire caused around $40,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation, WJZ added.
