A Maryland firefighter was taken to the hospital after being struck by debris during an accidental house blaze early Monday.
Anne Arundel County crews responded to the fire at a residence in Glen Burnie, WJZ-TV reports. Hot embers from a pellet stove's exhaust is believed to have ignited the blaze.
While battling the flames, a firefighter was injured by falling debris and taken to the hospital. Details concerning the firefighter's injuries were not given.
No one else was hurt in the incident, and five people were displaced by the blaze, WJZ added.
