Los Angeles County FF Suffers Minor Injury in 2-Alarm Blaze

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the leather factory in Pomona as 60 Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene late Tuesday.

Five dozen Los Angeles County firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze that broke out at a leather factory late Tuesday that left one firefighter injured.

Crews responded to the fire at around 11:30 p.m. at the Pomona factory, KCBS-TV reports. Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the building, and the incident was raised to a second alarm.

Eventually, 60 firefighters were called to the scene, and the flames were brought under control just after 2 a.m. One firefighter suffered minor injuries battling the blaze.

No civilians were injured in the incident, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
