Two Boston Firefighters Injured in 2-Alarm Blaze

Two Boston firefighters were injured during a two-alarm blaze early Thursday.

The fire broke out at about 2 a.m. at a house in the city's Roslindale neighborhood, WHDH-TV reports. Heavy flames were coming from the rear of the one-and-a-half-story wood frame home when crews arrived at the scene, according to the department.

Details concerning how the firefighters were hurt, as well as the seriousness of their injuries, were not released.

Four residents were displaced by the blaze, and the individuals all were able to safely escape the burning home. The fire, which is under investigation, caused around $250,000 in damage.
