Los Angeles firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze that broke out at a recycling yard early Friday.
Crews responded to the fire shortly after 1:30 a.m. at a recycling facility in Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to OnScene TV, which captured footage of the blaze. Flames had engulfed a pile of demolished cars and other scrap materials.
Firefighters made fast work of the blaze but stayed at the scene to put out lingering hot spots amid the debris. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
