Raw video from the scene shows flames shooting through the roof of the burning Lansdowne house, as crews from numerous departments worked for more than two hours to control the fire.

Crews from multiple Pennsylvania fire companies worked for more than two hours to put out a three-alarm residential blaze Sunday.

A call about a house on fire in Lansdowne came in shortly before 5:30 p.m., according to the East Lansdowne Fire Company. Firefighters from Lansdowne Fire Company led the attack on the large blaze, and Lansdowne police helped get residents out of nearby houses and made room for equipment on the street.

When crews entered the burning home, they encountered heavy flames on all floors in the rear of the three-story structure. More firefighters were called in as conditions became worse, and flames began shooting through the roof of the balloon-frame house.

Nearly a dozen fire companies responded to the incident, and crews had flames under control after more than two hours. Some firefighters remained at the scene until about 9:30 p.m., according to East Lansdowne Fire Company.
