More than 200 Phoenix firefighters responded to a massive two-alarm blaze late Sunday that destroyed an apartment building under construction.

The fire broke out at a four-story apartment complex that was being built, KPNX-TV reports. Burning construction equipment and vehicles caused several explosions during the blaze, but no injuries were reported.

Fire officials told KNVX that more than 200 firefighters battled the blaze. Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading to other commercial structures despite strong winds that were fueling the fire, KPNX added.
