New York firefighters encountered a pair of challenges while battling a massive clothing store blaze early Tuesday.
Crews responded to the fire shortly after 3:15 a.m. at Brothers Hip Hop Clothing in Syracuse, the department said in an online update. More than 50 firefighters were called to the scene, and they worked most of the morning to put out the flames, WSYR-TV reports.
Initially, rain that fell earlier Tuesday made it difficult for firefighters. Gas canisters and other obstacles also caused additional issues, WSYR added.
