A fire at a California mobile home park injured four firefighter Wednesday.
The blaze broke out in a downtown Quincy mobile home shortly before 1 p.m. before spreading to three more mobile homes and other buildings, KOVR-TV reports. The Quincy Volunteer Fire Department was among the multiple agencies that responded to the call.
While working to put out the blaze, one firefighter suffered a broken arm and was taken to the hospital. Three other firefighters were treated for dehydration.
One of the buildings damaged in the fire belonged to the Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resources Center, which helps run food banks and other programs for the homeless, KTXL-TV reports. The nonprofit group's headquarters was destroyed, and its supply of personal protective equipment was wiped by the blaze.
